Rob Richmond, Executive Director
Rob has lived on a hillside in the Crafton Hills since moving to the Chapman Heights community in 2006. He is a frequent hiker in the Crafton Hills. His enthusiasm for hiking and the outdoors have brought him to the highpoints of 47 of the 50 states and most of the 400+ national parks.

He continues this interest as a member of the City of Yucaipa Trails and Open Space Committee. He is the editor of the Crafton Hills Trail Guide and the Yucaipa City Trail Guide. Rob is a retired engineer who makes Yucaipa’s open spaces a personal project.

Sam Trad, Treasurer
I was born and raised in Southern California. During that time I played many sports in the great out doors. But until I ventured to Boulder Colorado after I graduated from RHS in1970 I had never really experienced the true four seasons of the year.
I lived in Colorado for some 20 years where I fell in love with the great outdoors during all seasons. This instilled in me a love of the out doors and the organic natural state of our environment.
When I retired in 2010 I pursued my passion for charitable goodwill targeting a number of non-profits from which I could add value back to my community.
